Someone should make there mount with a lip for a given model of phone to rest on while also held by the MagSafe force field. My 12 mini had fallen off twice on a bumpy road. The rubber pads on the jaws lost there friction 'bite'. Their older magnetic mount (stick a metal disc on the back of an iPhone or inside the case) slipped from my vent after a few months use. It looks like the iOttie MSC mount has something like that. That tasks a significant load of the vent jaws. A vent mount should have either a locking mechanism or at least a "foot" that supports the mount against the dash like my ESR mount. Their vent mount has a locking mechanism which should keep the mount secured to the vent vane. That would be the Mous MagSafe compatible line of mounts. I also just bought a Turing Magsafe tripod mount (why is Moment just not available in the UK?) but it’s not here yet. I think the Maus Magsafe car mount and chargers are definitely worth a look.
